timing settings
I have a stock 302 bored .040 over. with a edlebrok performer intake and 600cfm holley.
currently I have the timing set to 13BTC. the truck says 8BTC. what is a good place.
4x4 bronco.

With all your engine modifications aside, you need to deceide what octane gas you want to afford, then With the vacuum advance hooked up advance the timing just until the engine starts to buck a bit, then back it off a hair, test drive, if engine pings back it off just a hair at a time until it "just" pings or "just" doesn't ping & your there!!!-Supercab
