I had the Dieselsite boots before buying the 6.0L I/C. The driver's side didn't fit at all, and the passenger's side wasn't long enough to hold very well.

Here's a link to boots that will fit. Don't forget you'll need a new 3" boot clamp, since the 6.0L inlet is smaller than the stock 7.3L I/C. Boots you'll need are 3x3x8" and 3x3.25x8". Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Spearco Intercoolers Intercooler Boots

I actually went to a hose and rubber place and got some heavy duty 3 inch hose, It was a pita getting it over the passenger side, but I was able to stretch it over with some heat and lube.

Curtis, that was a really good and informative response, reps to you. This is totally have you put your truck on the dyno yet? Looks like you are still on stock sticks, is that your next mod?

Awesome Info Pocket!! I was just gonna ask this. Also what is considered bad damage for these intercoolers. The 6.0 I am gonna pick up has about a 1/2 ding on the fins.

This alright?

$125 sound reasonable?

Nah, hasn't been on the dyno. According to my weight and 1/4 mile times, I'm around 350'ish hp. As for the injectors, they are staying until they die. Any upgrades I do usually ends up as overkill, and the PMR's won't handle the power I want. Unfortunately, the mod budget has been spent for now. Money is going elsewhere for the time being.

As long as it holds pressure, it should be fine. Mine was $180 brand new in the box, but it had a slight ding on the bottom thanks to UPS. Still works and doesn't leak, and I've had it in there for over a year now.

Air compressor and some way to cap it off. You can find parts at Home Depot that you could fit together.
