Lookin 4 HD 3spd tranny for my 56

Due to my dana44 gear change to 3.07:1(soooo nice on the highway) I need that HD's low 1st.
Just would like some tech info on the tranny and the swap.

fat fendered ford had a hd 3 speed he had asked if i was interested in at one point . it's behind a flatty i'm supposing from his 53 . might give him a jingle see what he says . cant hurt right .
