Seems like my power locks don't have enough juice either from the inside button or my key lock to open or close. I can Hear them trying to work and sometimes they do but its getting progressively worse to the point where they don't open at all. ANy suggestions? I have an 2000 F350 with 7.3
I just went thru this with my 99. But it was only one door. The motor in the lock actuator was weak. I went to a junk yard and took some motors out of a ford windstar and replaced the bad one in my actuator. All seems to work ok now.
Do a search for door lock actuators. There is a very good write up on how to take yours apart and repair them rather than replacing them with new ones.
Do a search like Beerstalker suggested. I did the tinfoil repair on mine, worked great 1/2 hr job.Just follow the directions carefully. It doesn't cost a dime if you have a small piece of tinfoil and a little bit of mechanical skills.
