I'm sure this has been brought up before but what would it take to convert a 6.9L to run on veggie oil?

 

Tank and filter heaters.

Check the alternative fuels section, lots of people there do this kind of mod.

Your location, or more specifically the local temps will dictate what and how much modification is required.

The farther north, or colder you climate is, the more you have to do.
