just wondering im having my truck painted its green but I wanted to paint it black. The guy at the body shop told me not to change it to black for some reason but i cant seem to understand why.Is it harder to change the color green to black does that mean more money?I mean i know the door jams and under the hood would haveto be painted to match if i changed it from green to black but this guy was like telling me not to do it at all and its my truck not his.I dont see what the big deal is i like black maybe he doesnt i dont know but im the boss its my truck right.why you think he keeps trying to talk me out of changing the color?
I went to a shop with my old truck and they said stuff to me like that you dont wanna do this and you wanna do that and I was like thats not what i wanna do.so I went to another body shop.
also black shows every little flaw, so hes gonna have to really do it right, with no short cuts
Changing color from green to black doenst mean a thing. You could paint it white and it would be the same for painting everything. But Black will show EVERY little imperfection. Plus it is harder to keep clean. But its the fact that it shows everything. Flat black will hide some of that, but gloss it will show.
