Have you thought of going with the bellowed up-pipes rather than just replacing the crush donut gaskets? If you just replace the gaskets and re-use the same pipes, they won't last as long the 2nd time around.
How are you goning to do it? Pull the turbo, or trans, or some other way? If pulling the turbo make sure you get some pedistal orings. Might want to rebuild turbo at the same time. So turbo rebuild kit. The clamps for the downpipe and intake of the turbo from the exhaust.
i got my bellowed pipes last weekend on my trip, gonna do it one of these days, just wondering about the turbo o rings, i got them, do i have to give tmen a coating of oil like we do an oil filter before i install them? and also do i have to replace the o ring that is between the turbo and where the collector meet?
I undid the bolts off the y of the turbo. Didn't pull the turbo at all. Used about 2' of extensions from underneath the truck up and a 10mm wobbly socket.

interesting, did you just replace the donuts? seems everyone on here says if you replace the donuts or pipes with the bellowed ones you must remove the turbo
Did a friends truck and just replaced the donuts. Did not remove the turbo or drop the trans. Just removed the down pipe on passenger side.
My truck, we dropped the trans since it was being replaced anyway. Sat right up in the hole and replaced with PDR up-pipes right there on the spot. Again, did not remove the turbo or pull the y off the turbo.
I acutally had to replace the pipes. Gaskets were good. they rubbed a ring around the acual pipe almost all teh way around. dont have pics, but I can get them.
if your going to that much trouble I would etiher get the bellowed up pipes or have new stock pipes on hand. Luckily when I got mine taken apart the dealer actually had one set. other wise I would be truckless for a little longer.
I meant to stay stock, cause I could not afford the bellowed at the time. well as much fun as it is to get those bolts off. change it out new all the way around if you going there. both pipes were just over $100 + gaskets. so it was still cheaper than bellowed. but.........
