Another 302 engine ID problem (sorry)...
I have what I believe is the casting # (E7TE-CA). If I am following some of the other postings correctly this tells me that I have an '87 block. If corrct, this does not necessarily mean that it is an '87 engine??? Can anyone confirm any of this? I am actually looking for the engine ID on stamped on the "raised pad", but cannot find it anywhere. This engine has been changed and I had a transfer case R&R'd in this '88 Bronco and they changed the flywheel (due to some missing teeth) and now it "shudders!!!". Please help!
