Today I replaced the intake gaskets due to a coolant leak. After putting it back together and retiming the distributor(had to remove to get intake off) I can't get it to idle. It just dies unless holding it at a high rpm. Is there a sensor bad? I can't find any vacuum leaks. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Les
I wonder if when you timed it, if you removed the timing plug.
Run your hand down the Ignition Module wiring harness until you feel a small plug on a single wire, I don't know what color. Remove this plug. Remove the vacuum advance hose and plug it so that no vacuum leaks. Time it to 10 degrees, replace the hose and plug, and you should be set, hopefully.
