Well I got the kit today. Bad news. I dont think its going to work. My damn plow junk is in the way. I might be able to make it work. At 9:30 pm I dont feel like messing with it anymore. Here are some pics.
Here is the complete kit.
Here is the bracket that goes onto the frame. As you can see the plow stuff is in the way.
Here is the bracket on the tie rod bar.
Here is 1 stablizer mounted onto the plow frame.
Here is the 2 stablizers on the brackets just sittin in the wrong spot.
Here is a close up on how it the plow stuff is in the way.
The U bolt is supposed to go around the frame but it cant, and im using it to hold the bar up just incase yall are wondering.
If I space it out with like square tube, so it wont hit I think ill be good. The only other prob is the stablizers have to be out 4.44" which is 1/2 out. Says skyjacker. If I space it out, then i have to put the tie rod bracket on the adjuster sleeve so its right. I got to fig something out. Let me know what yall think.
If you have to use those things I would say that you should fix whatever it is thats cuasing your front end to wobble. But of course if its just for looks you'll find away to
giterdone. GOOD LUCK.
I dont have a wobble, just like the look, and plus when I have 36's and the plow on, it would prob handle a bit better. Ill make it work, just throwing it out there if anyone has the same prob or what they did to make it work.
Ok so I found some 2x2 square stock in my barn, and cut a peice 6" to fit on the frame to space the skyjacker bracket out. Ill have to either weld or bolt it all together. Ill have to fig something out. I id like to bolt it so I can take it off if I need 2.
I got it. Welded a bracket onto the frame, bolted skyjacket peice onto that. Then put it together. So for anyone that has a plow or a stock height F350 and you want to put this kit on here are some pics, or for yall that want to see lol. I got to say that the steering is stiffer and on the bumps the wheel dont like jump or pull my hand. Its nice.
