My DP-Tuner test run.
Just got back from a 600 mile round trip, mostly towing. Man the power that Jody gave my truck is incredible. I can't really comment on the fuel mileage as I was way to prone to play with my new toy. I ran it in 80T and 80E. The 80E did good and the tranny seemed to shift better. My boat/trailer fully rigged is probably around 3-3500lbs. I posted on another thread about pulling out one time. I thought only a couple of young guys and a few my team guys were watching. I punched up the 120hp will pulling out of the ramp with an empty trailer. About 1/2 way up I punched it a little. Tires turned loose and smoke rolled. Turned the whole ramp black. I pulled to the top and parked only to see two deputies and a park ranger heading my way. The big bellied Georgia deputy walked to the door first and I thought I was toast. His words were "Man, What the hell you got in that thing". 30 minutes later, a few engine revs, my card with DPs number on the back and they walked away and I was able to breath again.

Now all I have to do is pull the PCM and send it plus funds. I hope I get it back soon.

Congratulations on the DP Tuner I am deffinetally glad that I switched over to it and am looking forward to sending it back to Jody for some more tunes and reprogramming once I get my H2E and Stage 2 singles. Enjoy...

Good to see a another great report on the DP-Tuner, I know it was a totally different experiance jumping in and hammering on the 80E. You really should send this to Jody, he'd like it.

Thanks guys, Yes add me to the permagrin group and with a little luck I sold Jody some more. Even had a couple of DuraMax guys ask about the chip. I will email Jody with the story about the GA Deputy. He may be getting a call from one of them soon.
