New truck, no key code, help!

I just aquired a 2006 F350 6.0 CC SB 4X4, and want to be
able to use the keyless key pad. I found a thread on the Excursion
foram site, but most of the info was for older Excursions.
Looking for info for this vehicle. I didnt get the remotes with it either
just hav'ent had time to get to the Ford store
Thanks, Howard

You can buy the remotes on ebay!

The code for the door keypad is printed on the security module which is against the firewall just below the radio. You will have to use a flashlight and move some of the insulation out of the way to get to it, it's way back there!

Look up from the small glove box in center of dash! Have a GOOD flashlight handy.

First try looking for a card in with your owners manual that has the code printed on it.

Key fobs are very easy to program. Follow directions on page 84 of owners manual. Takes less than 2 minutes. congrats on new truck

Smile Dealer Assistance

By dropping into any dealership in person with your VIN (probably better to be in the vehicle) they can look up your code in minutes for free.

From what I have heard, most dealerships charge you to look up the code.
