19.5's weigh more due to the extra ply ratings but there relative size is nearly the same depending on which ones you get. I have had my truck for 1.5 years rotate every 5k and my tires last 45k I replace them early as it works out they are getting thin right at winter time in new england.
MPG's relate so much more than tire size. I am looking into the rickson conversion and here are the pro's & cons from my point of view
Pros:
Added stability when empty or loaded
Added weight carrying capacity ( more than you will ever need but who doesn't push it???)
Tires last on Avg 100k
Fills up wheel well and looks great.
Cons:
Initial cost is high, but is it any higher than adding any other style of aftermarket wheel & tire?
My $.02

Thanks for all the replies. This gives me a lot to think about. While I like the idea of bigger tires and wheel, there are six of them, and don't seem to be cheap. I can regear for less. But would I save much with my 350 to go from 4.10 to 3.73? Is a 3.55 possible?
