Define good. I am by Madison, and the pickings are slim. On the milwuakee cragislist there was a 76 highboy w/o engine for $500 with what the seller claims to be a rust free body. I know of several that could be had for cheap, but all would need floor pans and maybe more. I drive all over this state as part of my job, and there just isn't much out there. Before gas got crazy I was gonna take a trailer to Texas and bring it back with a cab for me and enough parts to sell to pay for most of the trip. I might still go this summer, but we'll see how high gas gets.

i still haven't gone down to the local las vegas salvage yard yet, i have been too busy. there are lots of pre 80 rust free trucks here, and when i go i will take pics and info and post it on the forum for everyone in case anyone is looking for a cab. i dont know when this will be.

Scrap metal is up right now! I took a bunch of clean aluminum in, a old battery and some old rusty door and a tailgate and a box of cut off metal
I thought I would get some money for the aluminum? it was #1
I got more for the old metal??? go figure
it took me about an hour to cleam the aluminum of all screws etc, and all I had to do with the metal was load it???
I usally have someone come get my scrap, but this new place just opened up the street from me so I figured it was at least gas money? which it was and it only took a little over a hour to do and I cleaned up around the shop at the same time
