351 stroker
has anyone ever built a 393 stroker? I'm considering one, but I would like to know how they run. I know the rod/stroke ratio is a bit on the cheesy side, but I work on 17000 rpm motorcycle engines for a living, and they have about the same ratio. I can build a 12:1 393 fairly inexpensive...all I really need to buy is the crank 3.85" stroke, stock-length 351w rods, and off-the shelf forged flat top 302 pistons. Add a set of victor heads (already have them) and vic jr intake and I think it should do fairly well in a 2300 pound maverick drag car.
