new motor

as some of you may know i just got done putting a new motor in my 97 and let me tell you this is no eazy task but its done and i could not be happyer before i put the motor in i did a new oil pan new oil cooler ,cps ,203 stat wate pump , collant filter set up ,hpx,new icp and ipr,stage 1 aa's, modded fuel bowl, gutted ebpv,3x4 tymar down pipe ,fuel pump,glow plugs (thanks tj )and so much more but the end result is i love my truck agian very much thanks to all who helped in this under taken the next job on the truck is to do the dana 60 swap i have the axel i just dont have the time but soon very soon

OK bigbadwolfe, ya did it...ya just made me jealous!!

The least ya can do is tell me what color you painted the engine. You did paint the engine didn't you! lol

That truck should run like a striped **** ape. Good for you.

BBW, what did you do to modify the fuel bowl? I'm glad to hear you got your truck back together. I thought you were gonna hang it up there for a while.

rubber duck i did the ih fuel heater i know you did something to your fuel bowl anything you might want to let me in on and as far as hanging it up i have a little more fight in me than that

I hadn't done anything to mine other than pull the heater and shim the FPR. Steve was always the one talking about modded fuel bowls. But he would never say what he had done. I guess we will both still wonder.

I know you wouldn't hang it up, I just know you were really frustrated with your engine after the injectors. I just worried about you because there was nothing I could do to help. I was at a complete loss as to why your truck wouldn't run right, that's all.
