One thing I didn't see in there was a fully charged battery putting out the right volts consistantly. Had the same issues with a 92 Tempo. The battery was weak and the low voltage out put messed with the injector pulse length and it would flood. New battery, never had the issue again. owned the car 5 more years.
Fast forward to 2005, gf had the same issue with her Suzuki Grand Vitara. Low voltage output on the battery, and it would flood the car. New Wal-Mart special battery, 3 years later and haven't had a repeat.
Thanks cougar for the tip but first thing i bought was a new everlast battery, mainly cause the truck didnt have one.....once again back to square one. The computers comomg in at 3:00 today and i am really leaning towards this being the problem. Thanks though
