I've always thought that would neat, my dad's 93 Chevy 1500 has extended cab windows that pop open in the rear, kind of like most minivans. Perhaps you could find the hinges and latches from another vehicle and retrofit them onto your windows.
You'd have to find a way to drill through the glass without shattering it. The latches and hinges could be secured to the Ford glass with the OEM hardware from the other vehicle. I bet if you did a little trimming of the molding around the window you could get all the hardware to hide behind there for a nice factory look.
Next time I'm at my dads place I'll have to take some measurements of his windows and compare them to mine. I'm sure theres a way to make this work and look decent at the same time.
