Thats funny. My truck is much the same way. For the most part I can make my turn signals work, except one, but the parking lights don't work, but the side markers work. Right now I'll be happy to get my turn signals working.

Well as long as it starts and head lights and tails work I'm good. Oh and winter I need the 4x4 as well live in a hilly area and a little snow and stuck in the drive.

sometimes my dome light doesn't come on when I open the door. it's usually when I need to find something that's lying on the ground. even if I turn the lights **** to the left it doesn't turn on. you gotta open and close the door til they turn on.

Good to know I'm not alone in this...or just crazy!. I talk to mine, kiss her good night, encourage her to wake up on cold mornings, and tell her she done good when we've hauled a big load.

I'm this way with my Harley too, which I also swear is alive.

WOW, now I don't feel as weird!! And my wife still thinks I need counseling though,,,, when she asks where I spent the money, I just tell her another truck!!
And quirks,,, everyone of mine has them. Had a friend borrow my 66, had to tell him how to start her, not to touch the gas when doing a warm start and so on.... !
But I like to work out most of the quirks, dpending on what they are.

i am so glad i am not the only person who talks to vechicles and machines, lol, some people think that's crazy, i for one believe that sine new cars are so robot made in factory's, and there design, they have no sense of a soul, look back to the old steam trains, and the old conductors said the old steamers had more of a soul and where alive! i guess that's just part of being car crazy!
