Brake Calipers
I am having a real hard time getting the calipers off the rotors on my '77 Explorer. This is the first time they have been taken off in 31 years. The keys were really hard to knock out but I got them out finally. Trying to pull the calipers off though is proving very difficult.
The truck was an old farm truck and it was fairly neglected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Push the piston back into the caliper with either a long heavy duty screwdriver or a C-clamp, hopefully they are not froze up, you should then be able to tap the calipers off gently using a brass hammer.
