diffrent water pumps
i have 3 f series trucks 2 have 302,s the water pump outlet is on the drivers side on one and on the passanger side of the other
could this have anything to do with one being a 4x4 and one is a f-350 or is one a transplanted car motor are they interchangable with one another? to the best of recollection ford put truck engine water pump outletson the pass. side please correct me if i am wrong
now for the next problem does any one know how many diffrent crank pulleys that were put on the 302,s ? i am trying to install a/c so i took the non ac pulley off removed the harmonicand reinstalled a matching harmonic and mutiple sheave pulley off another 302 now i am having trouble lining up my belts in proper alingment i have this same setup in my other 302 and it works fine could the water pump reversal between the two make a diffrence ? if your confused guess what i am totally lost thanks.

The water pump outlets is a year thing not a model thing. What years are your 302's? It also depends on the belt drive used. Are they "v" or serpentine?
The same goes for counter weights of the balancer. They switched designs in the '80's. You can use any style. You just have to also use the same balance flywheel.
