Just wanted to get in on Ol' Ford Buggy chat. Can't say I've ever seen anyone do one out of an old Ford before. Blenty of Jeeps, Zukes, and the guys with the money that have the Northstar engines and Vette engines. Nice to see some one going old school.
And damn I wish I had room for a tubing bender!!!! Not sure what I would do with it, but it would sure look good in the corner of the shop.
I'm doing something like that 'cept its a 79 F150 SWB frame and driveline and it gonna have a a 90 jeep (smaller 84-01) cherrokee body on top. I know some of you won't like the jeep
part, but this way I can take it to all jeep event and kick butt.
I'm even putting the radiator and tranny coller in the back as there will be no side glass and this will be a trail/event vehicle only.
Looks Really Cool. I did a buggy project around '91 for sand dune drag racing. I used to run 33"X14.50 Hooker paddle tires. The pics are 5 years ago, before it went in the barn. It is Truly a ford Buggy.
