Engine light comng on under load
hey, my buddy has a 02 F.350 srw and he was towing his 30 ft bumper pull camper up this larger hill about 3/4s of a mile long, he said about a 1/4 the way up he laid on the throttle and his check engine light came on, still ran great, didnt do anything else just the light came on, my question is why did this happen

On the PSD's the SES light comes on when you hit 22psi, and the engine will defuel to (a) remain in it's emissions envelope, (b) to keep EGT's down, and (c) to **** you off. You can throw a boost fooler in line with the MAP and it'll only read 22 or less psi depending on how your set it. No more defuel, no more light....
