A no bs manual
I am looking for a manual for my 94 f-150 4.9 longbed 2wd. I have a haynes manual, and it only shows engine drive train and electrical. I have yet to find a manual that will show me all the inside info as well.

the ford service manual set is what you need.

try ebay.

Helms is the publisher of the factory service manuals. Appears the prices have doubled over the years,

Helm Incorporated: Search Results

Light truck service manual and powertrain manual sells for $210.00. I recall the manuals in 88 for my F150 were $125.00.

You can always try Mitchells at your local library. Usually you can't check them out, but they will let you make copies of the pages you need.

I got my Ford manuals on eBay. I have 3 for my '91 F150. Get the Service Manual (2 volumes) + the EVTM.

Thanks guys,

anyone have any experience with the cd-rom versions from ebay? or does everyone prefer the books? i needed the dash info, i just bought a new instrument panel with the tach (original didn't have one) and i don't want to tear the dash up when i replace it.

i have both and prefer the books.

a little harder to find what you are looking for on cd but not that bad.
