Vacuum Boooster

Does anybody know of an aftermarket VAcuum Booster for a '77 F100? I read that you shouldn't use salvaged ones, is this correct? The one on my truck seems to work fine but it is quite rusty - should I just paint it with rust converter?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

just take your booster in for testing and find out how good it is.

I bought a reman unit from the local auto parts store. They had to order it, took 2 days, works great!

Mine all shot to heck. I have to pull up the brake pedal. So if it ain't broke, don't fix it, unless you used to work for the government, then go ahead and fix it until its broke.
