Hello
I got my Dads 79 F150 supercab 4x4 and it has been sitting for a couple years now. When I parked it the brakes (power Brakes) worked fine. Now they just go to the floor and do nothing. I tried bleeding them and after I did it still goes to the floor with nothing happening. Anyone have any Ideas of what I can try.
Any help appreciated
Luke

Mine does the same thing. It's a 77 supercab with power brakes. I took it to my mechanic once because of real low if any brake pressure. He told me that it was the proportioning valve that was leaking. Also that I would need a new master cylinder in time. It hasn't been replaced yet and the pedal still goes down real soft. I have to pump them once or twice to build pressure when I'm slowing down
