I have an 04 f350 6.0 cold air 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust and the Edge juice/attitude. Looking for a good program to stack with the Edge mostly to get rid of the speed limiter and to gain code check/clear availability. Any advice????

my advice is to not stack. stacking is dumb and will screw up your truck and tranny and throw cp's through the roof. Is getting rid of the speed limiter and being able to read codes worth the price of a tranny or the labor to replaces head bolts? Not in my world. Get a custom tuned sct xcal 3 from innovative diesel and you can get rid of the speed limiter, read and clear codes, and have some of the best transmission tuning available. That is my advice. Good luck.
My X3 makes twice the power my old edge ever did. And it doesnt blow the heads off the engine either. I hated the defuel during shifts with the edge and the X3 barks my 35's like nobody's business. Plus, you can by an X3 for what you sell the edge for. You should get a set of gauges though.
The best way to go IMO is the new tuner from Spartan Diesel. You get the gauges of a dashdaq and the most advanced tuning on the market. So advanced it is just about to be released. Google dashdaq or check out my gallery, It is an awesome peice of equipment.
Innovative diesel..... is that the place i should be calling to order the xcal 3 ?
Billet Speed - Innovative Diesel Re-director Go to spartan's website and read the disclaimer and decide if you want to wait a couple weeks. Eric at Innovative can get you tuned in 5 days tops and he is also doing his own ficm tuning. You have to send your ficm to him and he currently has a "mild tune" version available right now and his "race tune" version will be out shortly and YES he does plan on having a handheld programmer so you don't have to send your ficm in to him. Not sure if it will be seperate from the xcal or if he can send ficm tunes for the xcal. I would do research on tuners and what peoples opinions and experiences are with them. From my research and random reading I have found that people with spartan tunes sometimes need to have some tranny retuning done because "..it was all over the place". My point is, I would send friends and family to innovative diesel, gogo diesel, or dj diesel performance.
Thanks alot guys good info... I just hate to lose the on the fly ability of the edge but from everything ive heard the x-3 is the way to go .. thanks again i love this site.

With custom tuning, most of the higher hp tunes are economy style at 0-50/75% throttle and performance from then on. Honestly, I havent missed the shift on the fly with the edge.

let it go dude. as you can see in my signature I went from an early edge module which I think put out a lot of power before the platinum came out but the custom tunes are so much faster. It will remove the speed limiter and check codes and like maximum said you can do that but since you already bought the xcal and custom tranny only tune you might as well get the entire package. However, you shouldn't leave the edge plugged in and use a custom tune. good luck to you man.
