I recently purchased a 1967 crew cab and have not been able to find much information on it. Does anyone know how many of these crew cabs were made? It has a utility bed and I was curious if this could be factory or something someone put on after the fact. Any info would be appreciated
a utility bed???? i have a 70 crew cab. the crew cab could be factory(most likely is) but a utility bed i know nothing about...unless all you are talking about is a tool box under the bed on the passenger side, that would be factory. as for numbers i read somewere that only about 1,400 70 crew cabs were made, if i am wrong please inform me. but do a search in this forum and you will find a large number of posts about them.
ok so i just went and looked at your galliery (good job on that by the way, most people dont do that) the bed is NOT factory, the lights around the roof i dont believe are factory same wtih the grill gard, rims, and hood monstrosity. but good find. looks like it has lots of potential!
I saw that truck for sale in Peyton. Glad to see someone on FTE picked it up. As for production numbers, I have never seen any that were accurate. A few books claim to have some rough numbers but I haven't seen any that were right.
67's didn't have side marker lights either. Looks like the po was afraid of the dark. I see nothing that a few hours in the shop with a mig couldn't correct. Nice find!
