Biodiesel...again...sorry guys
1. Biodiesel has solvent caracteristics, yes if you go from running #2 diesel to a high mix or straight biodiesel you may have problems. I would suggest starting with a B11 or B20 and gradually increase from there.
2. Biodiesel has better lubricity caracteristics.(longer lasting and cleaner engine)
3. Glycerine is a bi-product of making bio and if not removed will create clogged filters aswell.
I have heard some say that they lost gas mileage and power, but I run about B60 and I definately haven't lost power, I really haven't noticed a change in mileage either. My fuel consumption goes up and down depending on how my right foot feels that day.
