Yes I am sure its possible as long as your not in Canada (DTRL are the law there). I know the module for the DTRL is mounted here (Red circle in lower right hand corner is for the day time running light module)

Should just be able to unplug it but I can't say for sure that the Headlights will work that way. SHould as the trucks with not DTRL just have a plastic plug in there.

My problem is trying to get mine to work.
I have to get it inspected and everything has to work including the day time driving lights.
TJ can you get to that plug without taking the front clip off (like your picture)?

You can turn them off with the parking brake. They are deactivated by the switch that activates the P-brake warning light in the dash.
Caution: Don't press the lever all the way down if you don't normally use your P-brake you can have them jamb up. A couple clicks should do it.

You might be able to get to it by removing the grill. If not you will probably have to remove the headlight bucket and parking light. 2 screws up top and two nuts at the back fo the core support.

i dont like them because when your trying to get in and out of somewhere late at night you dont want your headlights in your buddies house waking family members and such up. also they burn out light bulbs quicker. they can give a ticket for one being out even though you legally dont need them. just my .02

On the chevy's they always burn out! 90% of the chevy's I see driving around only have 1 DTRL lit!

The other thing about DRTL that I don't like is most people drive around with them in the evening and when it gets darker they have some light in front of them and they wait to turn on their lights. what they forget is that their tail lights aren't lit either!
