Low idle when shifting.
I have a 94 F150 4x4 351W with E40D. In the past two weeks my engine has idled extremely low, almost dieing, when shifting between drive and reverse when at a dead stop, foot on the brake.
It doesn't always do it but it is happening more with each day. I don't know if it is connected but just yesterday the transmission took a longer time than normal to shift from 1st to 2nd. By a longer time I mean the engine rpm was almost maxed when it shift very hard into 2nd.
I checked wiring harness connections on the transmission, vaccum lines, and even check the timing and everything seems ok.
I just had a new engine and torque converter put in last June, and the tranny rebuilt the June 06.
