Air raid throttle body spacers

Has anyone here used one of these? Are they easy to install? Are they even worth installing? Any problems or issues worth mentioning? Did you see any performance or fuel improvement?

Ah a throttle body spacer. Makes for a good paper-weight if it's a EFI engine (an exception for carb and throttle body injection setups).
