Clutch Question

Hey guys i got a small question i just installed a clutch this weekend and now that it is in, it makes a machine gun sound when the pedal is all the way to the floor! what it sounds like is the fly wheel is hitting the bell housing. Is there anyway to adjust the clutch? It shifts fine but i cant press it all the way to the floor. O ya it a single mass flywheel.
Thanks guys

p.s. the ats downpipe sucks when changing a clutch i had to remove the whole exhaust system to get the tranny out lol o well its done now

Look at the clutch release fork. See if it is hitting the pressure plate when you push down in the pedal. What ever is hitting will have marks on it.

I'm thinking way back here but I believe when converting some of the dual-mass to single-mass flywheels the housing has to be modified, which sounds like what you are experiencing. My memory is vague so someone please chime in. Contact Carolina Clutch (forum sponsor) if you don't get an answer.

I did several of the conversions but I never ran into a bell housing problem. That doesn't mean anything though. I just didn't see it.

I will be doing a single mass flywheel conversion on a powerstroke 1995 diesel in about a week. I ordered everything from Valair in texas:
