Yes, chains stretch, but unless you're running some big tires and a healthy engine, good chance it won't stretch.
I put my NP203 through hell and back with a stock engine, and the chain is still fine.
It's a good sized chain, and it holds it's own. I've seen guys running 38s+ with some nasty engines doing competition bogs, drags, pulls, and their chains last a couple years of competition.
So stock truck doing a pull every now.... I wouldn't worry about it.
