The sheetmetal halfs are "snapped" together with small tabs. This kept the parts together as the truck was being assembled originally. Usually end up destroying them trying to dis-assmble it.
Look down thru the bolt hole in the center and you'll see tabs locking the two pieces. Usually can't get anything down in the small hole to dismantle it.
