I have a 94 F150 4wd 302 5speed that wont start you can turn the key and it wont do anything but you can cross over the fender mounted silonoid with a screwdriver and she will fire right up I replaced the siloniod and still the same thing whats a real kicker is after you cross over start it it will start with the key a while then nothing again and have to start it with a srewdriver again this is realy getting frustrating can anyone please give me an idea what is wrong so I can get it fixed.
Check the fender mounted solenoid (also called the starter remote relay). Check the small push-on connector at the top in the middle. That is the signal feed from the ignition switch. On mine the connector was loose and corroded, thus giving an intermittent start situation. If the relay clicks when you turn the key, however, this isn't the problem.
If it clicks and doesn't crank, then probably it is a bad connection on the spade connector on the little wire that attaches with a spade connector down by the starter.

It is a common problem with these trucks.
Very likely!! I thought my starter was toast untill I bought a new one and started to change it and noticed the spade connecter was very loose on the old one, took a pair of plyers and carefully tightened up the connecter befor I put it back on, problem solved. Glad the guys at parts store let me return new one without the restock fee.
