Help with gauges!!!

I am looking for some help in hooking up the last three gauges for my 05 psd. I purchased Auto Meter Ultra Lite II electrict gauges. Where do I hook up the water temp, eng oil temp and mechanical boost gauges on the engine? If anyone has some pics that would be great also. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, is there any other stock plugs on the engine to install the oil temp and water temp senders?

There is for the water temp but you will need an adapter since the plug is metric. I think its 16mmx1.5. The oil filter housing is the easiest place that I found to place an oil temp sender, make sure you purchase a billet cap; they come with the center threaded for the sender.

Ok, thanks jmaskew. Do you know where on the block the plug is? I looked but nothing has jumped out at me. There is what looks like a plug on the top of the manifold but when I took it out it was threaded into something internal to the engine. Where did you buy that billet cap at? How much extra coolant does your truck hold with the coolant filters? Do you see any diferance in engine temp? Thanks again and those are some great pics.

Here's a picture of the water temp sender location.

You can purchase the billet cap here:

I didn't add any extra coolant after I installed the coolant filter, it didn't need any. There is no change in water temps after the filter was installed. I am very glad I installed the coolant filter after seeing all the dirt on the first filter change. I had an egr cooler blow at 59,000 miles, I want to do what ever I can to prevent it from blowing again. An egt gauge is on my list, but not for a while... my wife doesn't like me spending too much money on the truck, which is understandable. Maybe I can get one for a Fathers Day present!
