Bilstein Shocks
Hey guys I just ordered Bilstein Shocks for my 2000 Expedition XLT Sport 4x4 and wanted to know if they come with new hardware?

Yep, put mine on in november. expy rides 100x's better now! They come with everything needed to install them.

Hey guys, FedEx came today and I now have my new Bilstein Shocks. How hard is it to remove the the old shock bolts, will I need new ones?

If the bolts are corroded or damaged during removal, replace them. The hardest shock to replace is the driver's rear due to cramped working conditions. The whole job can be done in a couple of hours with hand tools and a jack.

I'll 2nd that....Driver's side rear was a pretty good test of patience. The other three took no time at all. Prolly spent about an 1 1/2 hours total, including clean up and beer break! LOL!

Sounds good to me, Ill start with the rear shocks and do the front after. I will make sure that I have PB Blaster on hand.

Any tips on replacing the rear shocks on a 2000 Expedition 4x4? I know that the rears are harder to get to.
Also I dont have Air Springs.
