I was just wondering if anyone has used the higher capacity tranny pans from b&m nad if they noticed cooler temps. i was planning on changing over to royal purple atf and i was thinking of uses one of these pans. I was also wondering how much work it would be to put a tranny temp gauge in since my truck doesnt have one?

If you want better cooling you'll get far better results from a better trans cooler than from a bigger pan.

If Ur Going To Get A High Capacity Pan Make Sure Its Aluminum With Fins,it Does Cool Ur Trany Down A Little.dont Get Chrome That Only Keeps Heat In.i Would Get The Pan And A Good Trans Cooler, Proly 6 Tubes Would Do Fine.AND IT IS REAL EASY TO INSTALL A TEMP GAUGE,PUT ON ON THE OUTLET TO THE COOLER TO SEE WHAT THE REAL TRANS KIT IS AND PUT ONE FROM TH COOLER TO THE TRANS TO SEE THAT THE TEMP IS OF THE COOLED FLUID, MECHANICAL GAUGES ARE THE EASIEST TO WORK WITH AND CHEAPER.

most likely it will be universal but the best prices are usual at summit racing for auto meter gauges
