Diesel engine availabiltiy...
Hello all...
I have heard 'rumors' of a 6 cylinder powerstroke for the SuperCrew. However, no one seems to know if it will be in late 2002 or in 2003.
Any info on the diesel motor for the SuperCrew would be appreciated.

Diesel engine availabiltiy...
The 4.5L PS will initially be available in the 2002 Expedition with the F150 and Econoline models following in 2003. The specs. I've seen are 235HP @ 400lb.ft. torque.
One thing to note though, one of our contract designers just came from Ford and says the engine vibrates pretty bad and has broken some frames on the test Expy. V6 engines are not the most perfectly balanced engines to begin with.
