mine works like this,... with key in my pocket, no power to the gauges it reads 100...with key in and power to the gauges it reads 200, ....when I start the truck the needle doesnt bounce just climbs on up to 400..

It doesnt go to 0 then the actual temperature? Cause it should. Do you think you couldve wired it wrong? Cause thats what it seems like to me anyway.
Ill see if I can get the audio to work so you can hear whats actually happening.
