I have a 4" Stainless MBRP and am happy with it. A good 4" mandrel bent system is WAY better than the stock 3.5" non-mandrel bent system, so pick one and go with it. You can get the aluminized systems for about $300, and the stainless for $400-$500, depending on tip options, any specials going on at the time, etc.
JMO, no performance gain at all with 5" over 4", just a little more hassle installing. You're limited to flow with the outlet on the turbo, no matter what size pipe you use all you're going to flow is what the turbo is capable of moving.
MBRP might work ok on short beds but seems they were to cheap to use enough pipe for the long box,the pipes are barely long enough to put together and have enough to clamp
I have the same exhaust in SS. Just right for me, glad I installed the muffler.
Now this is sort of odd, I'm just as glad I did the delete of the muffler. As I'm in and out of RV parks all of the time I'm constantly questioned by other PSD owners how did I get that cool sounding exhaust that is not really loud, but just right?
My advice- don't buy duals. Or if you do, buy the MBRP duals and not the Diamond Eye duals like I did. Its been a nightmare trying to get mine in, and it's on hold now until I can find a new spare tire winch.
