This old drunk near me has a cleeeeaaan 76 4x4 with A/C. I offered him 2K cash, he didnt want more money, he just didnt want to sell it. The guy owns a heavy construction company and has 5 trucks sitting in his yard. This one hasnt been registered since 06. I guess he just wants it to rust away in his yard along with about a million pounds of scrap steel. Sad. I sure would like to buy and fix it up. What a waste, Ill try to get some pics monday. (if you want to see them, I dont)
I hate drinking with people I dont like, and I dont like this guy (I do drink alot). I talked to him the first time, back in january, he said he hadn't considered selling but would, and to call him tomorrow, about twenty tomorrows later (literally) he asks what I do for a living (construction) he wants to do some remodeling and work something out. says to wait till mid april to call him, so I do, I drive out there and offer the CASH but now he wont sell, doesnt want more money, doesnt want to do a tradeout, just wont sell. My wife thinks he likes the attention. Im sick of chasing him and started shopping for a different truck. Cant find a 4x4 with factory A/C. But did find a 4x4 for eight honeys, the bed is trash. Beat but complete. Going to look at it a little closer tomorrow. Maybe I'll get the 4x4 and clean it up and look for a clean 2wd to do a body swap (I can only find 2wd's with factory A/C). Anyone know of any 4x4 (or 2wd) crew cabs, preferably with A/C, for sale near southern Oregon? I have cash. Thanks.
I don't know, some of these suggestions are borderline harassment. If the guy doesn't want to sell his truck, he doesn't want to sell his truck. He has a right to keep his own vehicle if he wants to. Sorry to hear about your misfortune though, sounds like a nice truck.

+1 here Just wait him out (half the fun) then when he and his liver go toe up.Your their to (take it off) the kids hands.Just be patient.I waited 4 years for one of my SC's THEN ONE DAY THE CALL CAME
I know where one is. I'm not sure if it has factory air. But it is a CC 4wd. I wouldn't worry much about a fact air anyways. That can always be added on the right truck.
I decided to walk away from that one. I looked at the other CC 4x4. IT HAD A DANA 60 FRONT AXLE, and an old warn 8000 pound winch, I scooped it up fast for 800 bucks. We couldnt get the engine to fire, looks like its totally shot. Thats ok, Im puttin in a cummins. Rcrawler, where is the one youre talking about, maybe its in better shape than this one.
