Does anyone know how the self adjusting system works. Is it in the clutch,on the release fork or in the hyd system .I;m going to see if I can find a diagram ....Thanks Al
not for certain sure, but i'm thinking it's hydraulic slave cylinder. the thing that's between the fork and the throwout bearing. i'll try to find my service manual and get a better answer for you.
I thought I could solve my problems with a longer rod on the slave, but no. So far I've change the slave then the master .I'm sure Ive got the air out. bushings are good, firewall ck no slop in the release fork ????????????????/ Al
You may need to adjust the master cylinder rod, or if the rod is not adjustable you may need to remove the clutch arm the master cylinder rod attaches to.
94 f-250 no adjustable rod there ,I wish their was .can;t find one . thinking of making one. those heim jonits are a rare bird around here. If I could thread part of the master rod . find the right theim joint I'd be good to go. Al
