Creating new wire harness

I'm looking into making some custom wire harnesses, and the one issue I'm trying to figure out is where to find and buy large pin count wire harness connectors. I would like a good 30 or 60 pin connector so that I can disconnect the wire harness from each other to allow swapping out one for another easily. I have done a lot of searching online but I have not found a vendor that appears to be a good choice. Has anyone here done anything like this and can suggest a manufacturer for these kind of wire harness connectors?

How fancy are you going to get? They have the amphenol connectors that aviation and military people use. They are the large round metal connectors. That would probably be the cadillac of connectors with a high price.

Here's a link to site that has plastic amp connectors that we use where I work. They go up to 24 pin on this site.

Check with some equipment dealers in your area. Many types of heave equipment have them, Aerial lifts use a few different sizes. Greg

Thanks for the suggestion. I got a catalog from Digi-Key and ordered some connectors from AMP and Tyco which should do the trick. A couple other sites wanted me to sign up as a customer account with a Credit Card, which I thought was a bit much.
