No Hi-Beam

No Hi-Beam

Need help my hi-beam light on my 98 Ford econoline won't come on, is there a fuse for it. I looked and can't find it.
when i turn on my Hi-beam the head lights goes out.

If both lights go out it could be the multi-function switch is going bad. I believe the econoline's use the same type that the F-150's used. This switch controls the hi-low beams, turn signals and wiper functions. Does your switch have a lot of play in it?
