Got headers on :)

The fit perfect only had to trim the dipstick bracket alittle. Everything else worked out great. I love them so far.

Who likes open headers!

Gotta take it to an exhaust shop soon and get the exhaust connected to the headers. Thinking I might aswell go ahead and get all new exhaust. Thinking 2.5" true duals with Flowmaster 44s straight back with nice chrome tips. Dont like how mine are 45ed behind the tires now.

I just put on a pair of similar, if not identical headers. How did you torque the bolts down? On mine, the tubing pretty much blocks a socket from getting on some of the bolts.

I used an open end wrench to get the bolts that i couldnt get with the socket. Didnt torque them down just tightened them by hand.

I had to use an open ended wrench. It was slow going (but worth it). Now I hope my starter dosen't go out any time soon...

Heh. Thats the path I took too. Well, good luck! The rest of my exhaust went up pretty easily, so shouldn't have a problem. Well, that is unless you are just leaving it as open headers! :-)

Looks like you have the same engine I do. Were you able to use the airbox bracket? I ended up leaving it off mine.

I used the top bracket but didn't use the support that went from the header bolt to the airbox bracket.
