92 ex leaks trans fluid
hi,guys i need an opinion.i have a 92 explorer 4.0 with a4od .it was professionally rebuilt at 100,000 for leaking trans fluid when it got hot.i was told they were notorious for this and needed an upgrade in the bell housing that took care of this problem.it has now started leaking bad out the front seal again.it has a 112,000 since the overhaul.i am not complaining about that but is this maybe just a front seal leak and not a major problem,it is not worth putting another trans overhaul in but i would put a little time and seal in it if it was just that.i have changed fluid every 25,000 and it is shifting fine.just looking for an opinion.thanks in advance!!!
