Power point?

I just bought a new power point socket for the dash in my 04. I can not for the life of me get it to slide out. Is there a special tool?I removed the plug and it looks like 2 tabs but it won't move. Please help.I am sure it is simple once I am told how it comes out.

I don't know about these, but a long time ago you had to unscrew the inner liner and pull it out the front, and the plug itself came off the rear.

Maybe the bump will get you a better answer.

These do not screw apart like the old ones. These look like the lock in by some kind os clip but can not get it to release if thats how they come apart.
