update mechanics stumped

83 F-150 302/eec III ignition gets gas has no spark replaced all usual suspects comp, sensor, rotor, crank sensor, module. Next to the relay is another plug, female four holes, has a white w/red dot wire green w/black dot wire and two others I dont remember. The only time he got it to run was by bending a paperclip and connecting two line then shaking a test light back and forth inside this connection. Noone knows what this plugs into (another relay maybe???) any help on this or any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Either here or email artmcg at bellsouth.net thank you ps im begining to think the truck would make a nic planter in the front yard because I cant afford 500 bucks tor a mallory systemwhich with my luck wouldnt work with the holley carb

update mechanics stumped

I think NETSCAPE IS LAZY TONIGHT!!!!!!
I beleive that ignition is fed thru starter solinoid and it must have good housing to fender ground to work. Is there a fuse link that is burnt?
I would think that a ECC man at your dealer should have the answer.
Chuck Good Luck:-(
